Artist statement I have spent the last 20 years developing a particular style that incorporates all that I love and appreciate about art – texture, looseness and realism within landscapes or portraits. I have found my perfect answer by combining ink pen and watercolours and charcoal and watercolours. To produce a painting, it involves two very different and challenging processes, but each stage is incredibly rewarding and satisfying. Having undertaken numerous commissioned pieces, mainly dog/pet portraits and the occasional landscape, I also take pleasure in producing my own work for exhibitions.
